Hi there. I’m the developer of DosePilot.com, and I’m currently an intensivist — a doctor working in the ICU. I decided to create this website because I remember how difficult drug dosage calculations were when I was just starting as a resident.

It was always a struggle to convert units like mcg/kg/min to cc/hr for new orders, and it took up so much time to open a browser and calculate creatinine clearance for renal dosing of antibiotics, especially when things were busy.

Now that I have a bit more breathing room in my career, I’ve built a medical calculator that aims to be much faster and easier. I tried to fix the little things that were inconvenient in a real clinical setting, such as:

• allowing all calculations to be done just with a mouse, and
• getting to any calculator in just a few clicks.

Because I lean on these tools myself, I take the medical side seriously. I build each calculator from the current guidelines and double-check the numbers against the original papers. Every page shows when it was last medically reviewed, and whenever something changes I note it under “Recent Updates” on that page.

Your data stays yours, too. Every calculation runs right here in your browser — the numbers you type in are never saved or sent anywhere.

And the part we both already know: these tools are here to help you think, not to replace your judgment. Please always double-check against your own patient and your hospital’s protocols before acting.
