Who this site is for

DosePilot is written for licensed healthcare professionals and trainees working under supervision. It is not written for patients, and nothing on this site should be used to start, stop, or change treatment for yourself or for someone else. If you are a patient looking for advice about your own care, please speak to your own clinician.

Always verify before you act

Results are only as good as the values entered and the assumptions behind the formula. Before acting on any output:

• check the numbers you entered, including units and concentration;
• check the result against your patient’s full clinical context;
• check your institution’s protocol and the approved product information, which take precedence over anything shown here.

Drug concentrations, standard dilutions, and infusion protocols differ between institutions and between countries. Some uses described on this site are off-label in some jurisdictions; where we know this, it is stated on the page itself.

No warranty, and no doctor–patient relationship

Content is built from current guidelines and reviewed before publication, and each page shows when it was last medically reviewed. Even so, guidelines change, sources can be misread, and errors are possible. DosePilot is provided “as is”, without any warranty that it is accurate, complete, or suitable for a particular patient. Using this site does not create a doctor–patient relationship with anyone involved in producing it.
